It was great having Czech, Hungarian, German and English all in small, lightweight device (a couple of ounces, and about 3x5 inches). It is missing some common words however, so was not always useful. For languages like German which have gender associated with nouns, it would have been nice to have that indicated when the word was displayed. Has some simple sentences, which is nice, but some words would only be found in a sentence, so had to scroll through the whole sentence to try and figure out what the word in question meant. On the other hand, it displays any occurence of the word alone or in a sentence, so can give some hints for the use of the word in simple sentences. Has groupings of words/phrases by use, like "Accomodations", "Basic", "Business", "Emergency", etc. The numbers and dates are in alphabetical order in the source language, so the first entry in English is "A million", which is perhaps less than useful. You have to scroll through 8,18, 11,15,5,4,14,9 and 19 before you get to 1. If you switch to French, e.g., the first number is "Cent" (100).
